Character building with wooden bar stools

Traditional pubs are going to be around for years to come.  People love being able to nip down to their local pub which serves traditional ale, serves home made food and has great customers.  These traditional pubs have a homely feel, a large fireplace and some comfortable furniture.  At the bar you will also find some bar stools, but these can't be just any type of bar stool, they need character for a traditional pub and these are the stools we are going to showcase today.  Never compromise on furniture as this is what keeps people up in your pub!

Boston Bar Stool

The Boston Bar Stool is very popular with pubs.  It's very different from a minimalist stool we would recommend for a hotel or a bar as this stool is traditional in every way.  From the foot rests to the back rest, the Boston Bar Stool won't feel out of place in a tradition pub.  It comes with a walnut finish and has matching side chair and arm chairs available if desired.

Galway High Stool

Sometimes simple is all that is needed.  That's exactly what the Galway High Stool offers.  There is not back rest so this is more like a stool many of us are used too, but the detail in the legs adds the character perfect for a pub.  It's available in a walnut or natural finish.

Swanson Bar Stool

Slightly different than the Boston Bar Stool, the Swanson stool offers arm rests and a swan back rest. This beautiful bar stool is available in a walnut or mahogany finish and will certainly give your customers a comfortable seating position at the bar.

Fully Bar Stool

The Fully Bar Stool is a great example of traditional meeting modern but without losing too much from its origin.  The frame is made from solid beech and includes upholstered seating and sides.  It's comfortable with upholstered seated area and also has foot rests.  We really like this bar stool as it serves the purpose but looks great too.

Colonial Bar Stool

Finished in dark oak wood, the colonial bar stool has a brass foot rail and upholstered seat.  This one really is a traditional bar stool as it 'oozes' so much character.  We love this stool as it has a great mix of character.

We hope you have enjoyed some of our bar stools which we recommend for traditional pubs, but we do encourage you to take a look at our whole range here.
